Rajamudi rice, the favourite of the royals of Mysore. It is said that the royals were so fond of this flavourful and nutritious rice that they collected this rice in lieu of taxes from their subjects who couldn't afford to pay taxes.
The unpolished Rajamudi rice is a mix of red and brown rice and is rich in dietary fibre and zinc. Above all the rich flavour of this bag of rice will blow your mind.
How to cook Rajamudi Rice?
Rajamudi rice needs extra soaking
Wash and soak rice in clean water for about an hour and cook like your regular rice.

We loved this Rajamudi rice that we tried for the first time ,for the fact, that though not very fragrant, it’s really light on stomach for digestion. And I would certainly buy it again.
I have tried various cold pressed oil products from Freshmill i.e coconut, niger, almond, castor , cow ghee etc and have to mention they are top notch in quality &packing. The organic jaggery is my favorite and gives you that earthy aroma of real jaggery. A must try and buy for everyone, i have a become a regular now at Freshmill.
I have ordered Rajmudi rice for the 1st time, ordered and tried and this is the best kind of colored rice I hae ever taken.
Everyone at home liked this rice.
I like to see 10 kg pack and also want to see the prices slashed a little bit.
